Quick summary

On Monday, September 29th, Ethereum accounts (aka, Argent Vault) will no longer be available in the Ready mobile app.

Your assets are safe. To access them, download the new Ethereum Argent Vault app (iOS & Android) and complete a key migration. Available on September 29.

Read guide below for step-by-step instructions. We strongly recommend moving your assets to your Ready account on Starknet.

✅ Option 1: Transfer your assets to your Ready account (recommended)

This is the smoothest option. Ready on Starknet gives you fast and low-cost transactions, access to DeFi, staking, the Ready Card, and rewards.

How to transfer funds:

  1. Open the Ready app on your phone.
  2. Go to your Ethereum account (aka, Argent Vault).
  3. Tap Bridge to Starknet.
  4. Select the assets you want to move (ETH, WBTC, USDC, etc.).
  5. Confirm the transfer → assets will appear in your Ready account on Starknet.

📤 Option 2: Send assets to another Ethereum wallet

If you’d prefer to use a different Ethereum wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Ledger):

  1. Open the Ready app.
  2. Go to your Ethereum account (aka, Argent Vault).
  3. Tap Send.
  4. Paste your Ethereum wallet address.
  5. Confirm the transaction.

🆕 Option 3: Migrate to the new Ethereum Argent Vault app

1. Install the Ethereum Argent Vault app from the App Store or Google Play Store (link will be added here on Sept 29th).

2. Install the latest version of Ready from the App Store or Google Play Store.

3. Open the new Ethereum Argent Vault app and tap Get Started.

4. Tap Move Account in the new Argent Vault app.

5. Complete FaceID (or biometrics) in Ready and then tap Approve to migrate your keys from Ready app to the new Argent Vault app.

6. Tap Ok once your account has been successfully moved.

You can now use the Argent Vault app with your Ethereum account.
