What are Ready Rewards?

Ready Rewards is a points system that rewards activity in the Ready app. Points can be used to refund card purchases or (coming soon) get discounted subscriptions on brands like Claude, Netflix, and Spotify.

Think of them like credit card points. They have real utility. You can use them in real life.

Why we built Ready Rewards

This is the next step in the evolution of Ready from a crypto card to a crypto neobank alternative. Instead of only rewarding card spend, we now reward your activity across the entire app.

How do I earn points?

Everyone: Buying and selling tokens in the Ready app.

Metal members: Every time you spend with your card and by buying and selling tokens in the Ready app.

This is V1 of Ready Rewards.

How many points can I earn?

How to get point boosts?

Metal members can increase their earning rate in two ways:

Referrals: Refer 2 friends to Metal and get a 2x boost for 30 days. Each additional 2 referrals extend your boost by another 30 days.

Power spender: Be among the top 100 most frequent card users each month to get a 2x boost the following month.

With both boosts applied, you can earn 9 points for every $1 you spend.

How do I pay with points?

Points have real value. Use them to refund eligible purchases, like your morning coffee:

1. Buy a coffee.
2. Find the payment in your Activity.
3. Tap Pay with Points.
4. Receive USDC back in your balance.

Pay for a Claude, Netflix, or Spotify subscription with your Ready Card and receive 25% of the total amount back in points:

1. Pay for your subscription with your Ready Card.
2. Find the payment in your Activity.
3. Tap Refund for points.
4. Receive points back in your account.

FAQs

Who's eligible for Ready Rewards?

Almost anyone who uses the Ready app. Earn points by buying and selling tokens, or by spending with a Ready Metal Card. People based in Mainland China cannot spend Ready Reward points.

How do I get a Ready Card?

Download Ready (iOS or Android) and apply for a Ready Card inside the app.

Why are you switching from cashback?

Cashback only rewarded people spending with a Ready Card. We want to reward your activity across the entire app. We also learned that cashback attracted loyal users and “optimizers”. We want to prioritise loyal users. Ready Rewards will help us do that.

What happens to the cashback I already earned?

All cashback accrued before May 1st will be paid out in STRK by the 15th of May. 

How do I use my points?

Points can be used to get a full refund on any qualifying card transaction. You will be refunded USDC. You need enough points to cover the full transaction amount. 

When do I receive my points?

Points are not awarded instantly. They become available after:

1. Your transaction settles (typically within a day).
2. A 7-day grace period has passed after settlement.

Points are whole numbers only. If an action doesn’t qualify for a full point, no points are awarded for that action.

How long does it take to refund a payment with points?

Refunds are processed several times throughout the day, typically within a few hours. You will be refunded USDC.

Which card purchases are eligible for points?

Most card purchases qualify. A transaction is eligible if it is fully settled, not older than 30 days, and the merchant category is not on the excluded list. 

Which card purchases can be refunded with points?

Included: Online shopping, grocery shopping, subscriptions, cafes and restaurants.

Excluded: Topping up your account, peer to peer transfers, and gambling transactions.

Pay for a Netflix, Spotify, or Claude subscription with your Ready Card and receive 25% of the total amount back in points. Follow the steps above.

Do points expire?

No. Points have no expiration date under the current programme. Ready reserves the right to introduce an expiration date in the future, specifically in the event the programme is terminated. Your points are safe as long as Ready Rewards is running.

Does this affect my other Ready Metal benefits?

No. All existing Ready Metal benefits remain in place:

• No bridging fees
• No FX fees
• No ATM fees (up to $800/month)
• Travel and hotel deals (up to 65%)
• Discounts on partners like Airalo, Koinly, and NordVPN
