Why the change?

When we launched Argent in 2017, crypto was clunky, confusing, and borderline unusable. Our mission was clear: make crypto easy.

So we built smart contract wallets before anyone else. Gasless transactions when most people didn’t know what “gas” was. And self-custody that didn’t require a PhD in crypto.

But back then, the world and the blockchains we built on were not ready.

Today, things are different.

Stablecoins are going mainstream. Bitcoin is an institutional asset. Wall Street is building on Ethereum. And mobile-first isn’t the exception - it’s the standard.

Crypto isn’t just for the early adopters anymore. It’s for everyone.

And we’re Ready to bring it to them.

We’re not revealing everything just yet, but here’s what we can say:

For now, the only thing you’ll notice is a new name and a new logo. But that’s just the surface.

By separating from Ready, Ready Wallet can ship faster and be laser-focused on one thing: building the best wallet for crypto natives.

We’re already hard at work redesigning the wallet, unifying mobile and browser, unlocking more ways to earn, and exploring new chains.

Ready Wallet won’t just be functional. It’ll be fun, beautiful, and genuinely rewarding to use.
